DELP Alumni Refresher Course

One-day refresher workshop for DELP Alumni

Description

This workshop has been postponed. We will announce a new date and notify alumni.

In the digital world, a lot can happen in just a few years!

Join us for our first ever DELP Alumni Refresher Course to refresh your knowledge and learn about the latest developments in the digital government space while connecting (and re-connecting) with colleagues from across our 12 cohorts of DELP.

We will be bringing back our core DELP instructors to provide updates on the latest developments in Digital Government and topics such as data science and AI, design thinking, accessibility and sustainability, the Metaverse and Web3, and more!

A survey will be sent in advance to all registered participants to gather participant input on specific topics that you would like us to cover as part of this refresher program.

Program Cost

The program cost for this workshop is $850.00 per person. This includes breakfast, lunch, and coffee breaks as well as complimentary admittance to the DELP networking event that evening.

Note: as a non-profit organization, the IOG does not charge HST.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Do I have to be an alumnus of the Digital ELP program to take this refresher workshop?

Yes -- this course has been designed as a refresher for individuals who have already completed the 5-day virtual or in-person Digital ELP Bootcamp.

2. What is the Digital ELP and how can I register?

The Digital Executive Leadership Program (DELP) is purpose-built for public sector executives at all levels of government (federal, provincial, municipal) and non-profit leaders who want to better understand the leadership challenges and opportunities in the digital era.

Led by experienced practitioners in public sector digital transformation, DELP explores major digital trends and the implications and opportunities for government operations and service delivery. Key concepts that are covered during the week-long virtual bootcamp include design thinking, agile methods, digital technology, data analysis and visualization, digital and data ethics, the future of work, and approaches to managing and leading digital teams. Our new hybrid format includes an additional day-long in-person workshop and dinner event that provides participants with an opportunity to further deepen connections with their peers and explore how they can take practical steps to transform their organizations.
